It only took a few months into the COVID 19 pandemic in 2020 for me to realize how much we take for granted our freedom of movement. For the entire year there was no hope of a vaccine yet, and almost no idea on how the virus worked - so we stayed put. We didn’t even leave for groceries - and the walls began to close in. I’ve always been obsessed with the ability to jump to new locations at will, and when the reality of 2020 began setting in, I wanted it more than I can explain.
