This is an earlier set of renders from trying to use the subsurface scattering. I was going to trash them, but I think I'm too attached to them. I really like the way it's starting to emulate plastic.

I've been playing around with the subsurface scattering channel A LOT lately and this is what I came to after a long while. I like the monochrome look and the text really stands out I think. We'll see where it goes. I'm thinking a poster? Maybe a book jacket?

Well, I'm back. It's been a long week or so between work and this pesky ear infection. Not to worry, I'm putting a ton of work up today.
As for this, I've been trying to work at making medical illustrations. This is, quite frankly, super ugly. It's a start. A gross, ugly start.
