Work in progress of a blood vessel with blood cell particles running through it. I'm definitely interested in medical illustration, but getting the materials right is super tough.

This is a render using the ePMV plug-in used to fetch proteins from the Protein Database. The left is the Cholera virus and the left is a simple amino acid. I'm not a biologist, but I like biology. Hopefully I can use these types of forms to do some actual work in the future.

Made a more hi res version of that weird spiky plant. Thought it looked like an environment (huge surprise!) and threw the little ship in there. Tried out some different lighting effects and finally landed on a more normal looking one.

Well, I'm back. It's been a long week or so between work and this pesky ear infection. Not to worry, I'm putting a ton of work up today.
As for this, I've been trying to work at making medical illustrations. This is, quite frankly, super ugly. It's a start. A gross, ugly start.
